The Bender family, commonly known as the Bloody Benders, was a family of alleged serial killers consisting of four members. The family supposedly consisted of John Bender, his wife, Kate Sr. (also known as Elvira), their son, John Jr., and their daughter, Kate Jr. They lived in Labette County, Kansas, from approximately May 1871 until December 1873.
